The establishment of a unique residential estate of 750 residential units incorporating the 100 year old Irene Dairy Farm and 80 year old Irene Golf Club into one security precinct. It included designing residential properties fronting the farm, agriclutural pastures, the Hennops River and the Irene Golf Course. This high income development involved detailed land use right uinvestigations, urban design, environmental design and landscape planning. It is hailed as one of the most successfully marketed security estates in South Africa. The project extended post approval to include a regional shoppinf centre, private school (Southdowns College), Art center (with commercial theater and art facilities for the school) and boutique hotel. |
