Soshanguve Block W

Urban Dynamics has been constructing houses in Soshanguve for Dev Group for the past 3 years. This includes both Engineering Rafts and Houses. The houses are 40 square meters in extent and have tiled roofs and internal plumbing. Houses are built on erven where beneficiaries already reside under infor mal conditions making use of local emerging contractors only. Urban Dynamics contracts the necessary contractors to construct the rafts and top-structures, supplies all building materials to site, distributes materials to the local contractors who have been engaged in the project, provides its own quality controllers on site, supplies and erects the roofs and hands over the houses for final approval to Dev Group and the Department. The CTMM is responsible for beneficiary screening and approval. |
