In May 2013, Urban Dynamics embarked on a public participation process related to an application to amend the Land Use Categories and Boundaries of the RSDF approved Mixed Use Node at the PWV5/K46 (William Nicol Drive) Intersection. This application was made to facilitate the development of the Diepsloot SMME Incubator and Business Hub.

More information about this exiting project can be found at the following links:
Location: The subject area is situated to the East of William Nicol Drive (K46) and North of the proposed PWV5 Reserve. It is generally located to the North-East of Steyn City and Dainfern, South-East of Diepsloot and to the North of Helderfontein Estate.
Affected Properties: The subject properties are registered as Portion 7, 36, 37, 38, and 121 of the Farm Diepsloot 388 JR (Riversands Farm) and Holdings 1 to 14 Kleve Agricultural Holdings.
Public Participation Process: An extensive public participation process was initiated and 2 public meetings were held, on 5 and 19 June 2013. Once all comments, objections and responses were submitted, the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality considered and approved the RSDF policy amendment as Item 39 at its Council Meeting of 28 November 2013.
The applicant, Century Property Development (Pty) Ltd and its team would like to thank all participants for their positive contributions and hope this project will deliver the much-needed vocational training and job opportunities to the residents of the City, but more specifically, Regional A, Sub Areas 3 and 4 (Diepsloot, Fourways and Surrounds).
The full policy amendment is now available for download from the City of Johannesburg Web Site.
